We’re Jacob and Angelica Tellez , a Maryland husband and wife wedding and family photography team, mom and dad, Jesus followers, and storytellers.
Creativity has always been a part of our story both individually and together. In 2018, we took a leap of faith and launched Storytellez, a Maryland wedding and family photography brand rooted in faith, legacy, and intentional storytelling.
We don’t just take photos and films we document the moments that matter most. The quiet hand squeeze during your vows. The tear your mom tries to hide during your ceremony. The way your baby fits perfectly in your arms during this fleeting season of motherhood.

Fact 1
Angelica is older. This is a silly one, but Angelica is actually 4 whole days older than Jacob lol. We are both May babies. We always joke that Jacob is married to a cougar even though we are the same age lol.

Fact 2
We are Waffle House Fanatics. Waffle House is a staple day date & night spot for us. We have spent just about every major holiday there ( New years, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Valentines to list a few lol) We even went there right after our wedding with our our whole getup! Now our two little girls get to join in the fun and its all the better.

Fact 3
We are hobbyists. Jacob loves to collect Superhero Statues ( Batman in Particular), loves to read comics, and is the Movie Marathon King. Angelica loves to junk journal while listening to a Romance audio book, loves going on adventures especially when it involves food and loves to find a good deal whether at a local thrift store or Target-Tjmaxx.

Girls overrun our family. Yep Jacob is outnumbered. We have two adorable little girls and in addition we have our fur baby, which you probably guessed is also a girl. We love a good girl gang and so does Jacob. How lucky is he!
